Chapelton Vineyards is a Texas Winery located in Washington, Texas. The Owner’s of the vineyard had been long-time enjoyers of Napa Valley Wines, and decided to take the jump into owning their own Vineyard in the great State of Texas. Infrastructure Associates provided MEP design services for the vineyard inclusive of private wine tasting rooms, conference spaces, kitchen and bar areas, wine production areas, and climate-controlled storage areas. Mechanical design for this project was complex in the sense that enhanced humidity and temperature control as well as alarms were required to ensure that the wine was properly stored. Any issues would result with a financial loss for the Owner. IA also coordinated with interiors to provide lighting and lighting controls for the entire vineyard. Due to the remote location the plumbing system was designed utilizing a well and septic system in coordination with project Civil Engineer. IA also provided construction administration services as well as construction management services for this project.
