Commissioning
IA’s track record for commissioning performance speaks for itself with zero reports of post occupancy operational issues encountered to date. IA is technically competent in all commissioning aspects of engineered building systems including HVAC and building automation control systems, energy conservation and recovery, electrical power, lighting, and plumbing systems. IA has experience with commissioning new and retrofit public educational projects including pre-kindergarten early learning centers, elementary schools, middle schools, K-8 schools, high schools, community colleges, and state universities. IA has commissioned HVAC systems, central plant facilities, energy conservation and recovery systems, chemical control & treatment systems, building automation systems, domestic how water heating systems, electrical power distribution systems, emergency power generators, lighting control systems, fire alarm systems, institutional smoke control systems, security access control systems, general laboratory facilities, research laboratory facilities, and bio-safety laboratory facilities.
Commissioning Approach
IA employs the Pareto principle in our approach to maximizing the effectiveness of our commissioning management. The Pareto principle focuses on maximizing achieved benefits through focusing resources on areas where the most improvement can be realized. IA also advocates for early and continued involvement during the design process, as our past experience shows that benefits for all parties are maximized when potential problems are identified and addressed early on.
