Sustainability
Infrastructure Associates understands, and is committed to providing clients with cost-effective and environmentally sensitive system design. To do so, IA provides clients with an energy efficient, water conserving, and limited greenhouse-gas emitting building design. IA can utilize Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) requirements set by the United States Green Building Council to design a system that saves the client/owner money, and inflicts limited damage upon the environment. IA has experience in securing all four (Certified, Silver, Gold, and Platinum) LEED awards for innovative and clean energy building design for multiple different projects, including the University of Texas at Dallas Student Services building which was the first academic building in Texas to achieve LEED Platinum status. Sustainability in design, however, is not limited to projects looking to fulfill LEED requirements. IA engineers consistently are looking for innovative, cost-efficient, and environmentally-friendly design solutions for all projects that can in-turn be presented to clients/owners. With this approach, owners can see cost savings, and make accurate and informed decisions regarding their project.
