PROJECT BACKGROUND
This new single-story, eight-bay fire station is approximately 20,000 SF. It houses 30 personnel, two fire engines, four ambulances, a District Chief, accommodations for public polling, and parking for approximately 55 vehicles. The station also houses refueling facilities, a large radio antenna and communications suite, a painted heliport security fencing and landscaping. Infrastructure Associates, Inc. provided MEP engineering services that included HVAC design, plumbing design, lighting design and fire alarm design in accordance with LEED requirements. Infrastructure Associates, Inc. also coordinated supplemental documents in support of LEED MEP commissioning requirements. |
