PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project consisted of renovations to the Herman Park Trails and Reflection Pool. In addition to renovations a new boathouse was designed and a pump station for the lake was provided. Infrastructure Associates, Inc. provided electrical lighting and power distribution design and construction documents for the expansion and renovation of the trails and Reflection Pool. A lighting plan was also designed for the walkway around the lake. The existing medium-voltage electrical distribution system was utilized to serve the new 1500-kVA transformer designed for this project. Greenway Trails included an inspection of the existing property to determine the condition and availability of the existing electrical distribution system. IA also developed the electrical design plans that included power source location, duct bank routing, lighting plans, lighting control, one line diagram, schedules, details, and load analysis. All construction documents and on-site inspections were preformed per the requirements of the City of Houston Parks Department. This project was a joint venture between City of Houston and “Friends of Hermann Park” group. |
