 PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Replacement of Flight Information Display Systems (FIDS) and Baggage Information Display Systems (BIDS) for Hobby Airport project involved thorough field investigation for documentation of existing video sources and power circuits feeding the displays. Design consisted of assessment of existing circuit capacity for new displays, device and branch circuit layout, panel schedules, and video cabling to feed the new displays. Additional electrical detail was designed for custom lighting fixtures above free-standing displays with concealed LED drivers and wiring. Displays typically consisted of 4 to 8 LED panel monitors.
