PROJECT Description
This new retail facility and parking garage for The University of Houston consists of 24,000 SF of shell retail space, 24,000 SF of visitor and student space, and a 1,700-car multi-level parking garage. This was a fast-track project; the construction documents were completed in four months. The parking garage and the shell of retail and office areas were let for construction while the office area design was being completed. A CM at Risk was selected for this project. Infrastructure Associates provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing design services including the HVAC system, plumbing system, fire protection, electrical distribution, communication system, indoor lighting and pole-mounted High Intensity Discharge lighting for the roof level of the parking garage. Infrastructure Associates provided a full set of MEP construction documents suitable for permit and bid and provided construction administration services. Infrastructure Associates performed these services as a sub consultant to STOA/Golemon/Bolullo Architects |
